Can't print from laptop on Wi-Fi network
02-13-2016 05:17 PM

I am no longer able to print from my laptop using my home wi-fi network. Everything was working fine for a number of weeks. My laptop was running Windows 10 before I installed my HP Officejet Pro 6830. Now I can print from my iPad but not my laptop!!!!!
I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything, stopped and started routers, etc, etc etc. Now I am my wit's end. Any ideas?

Hi,
Thanks for using the forum. Can you try the following:
Please Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR) tool to diagnose and fix your problem

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the suggestion but I've already tried that (more than once). I get to the test page part and can't print. It then suggests I print an Internal Test Print - which works fine. It then gives me the link to HP Customer Care which checks for software updates required. That tells me there are no suggested updates for my printer. So I'm back at to where I started!!!

HI,
Can you try to HP Auto Wireless connect.
These 2 relevant videos wil show you how:
Restore Printer Network Settings
Setting up the printer wirelessly using HP Auto Wireless Connect
Please ensure that you have the FULL feature software.
Hope that helps.
