You might use the wrong media which good for solvent .......

Make sure pick the media good for dye or uv  inks.

I tried alsmost all media but the result is always the same.

I tried hp media, 3M media and others, but it won't work.

First, You must check that media spec, prior purchase. dye  or uv inks... can not blindly try.

Myself saw those vynil adhesive medias on Ebay with very cheap prices & they were for solvent inks....

2 months ago I bought one roll to mtry  & same problem like yours, never dry & mess up completely.   $36 included shipping. I was willing to pay & try.

Jasonmiamifl is corret.

If the media is for a solvent it will not work with the HP Designjets.

I had a client switch from a solvent to a Designlet and could not understsand why inks were just running.

I had to bring a proper roll to prove to him it was the media.

Good Luck,
