HP Deskjet 3520
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My HP Deskjet 3520 printer is unable to print anymore with a refilled ink cartridge. I understand this got blocked by a Dynamic security feature included as part of a firmware upgrade.

I am also aware that an optional firmware version was subsequently released in Oct 2016 for some printers to rollback this Dynamic Security feature.

However, I don't find this optional firmware version to remove this Dynamic Security feature for my printer model. Can you please provide me a fix for my firmware to resolve this issue?

My printer firmware got upgraded on Sep 13 2016.

Regards,

Faisal

Your model printer was not affected by the Dynamic Security Update.  There is no firmware upgrade.  Most likely the cartridges were damages during refill.   Take it back to the place who refilled it and have them verify it works in the exact same printer you have.
