Cannot get printer to connect to wi-fi

Deskjet 3634 all in one print
iOS

Trying to set up printer above using a apple iPad Pro tablet running IOS 9.3. Following instructions I have pressed the wireless Barron and the cancel button for 3 seconds, the power light blinks. The wireless light continues to blink to connect the printer but does not stop blinking after which the printer is supposed connected but the light does not stop blinking suggesting that the printer has not connected to wi-fi. What should I do?
