Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Officejet Pro 8625 printer. I understand that you are getting carriage jam issue and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.
Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,
- Turn off the printer, and then on again.
- Clear any jammed paper from the printer.
- Make sure that the carriage can move freely.
- Remove and then reinstall the cartridges.
- Plug the printer directly into a wall outlet
- Reset the printer.
