Cartridge supply and Error message

HP Recommended
Ebvy 5546

My colour ink cartridge ran out several weeks ago and I have only been sent a black refill. Please could you send a new colour cartridge.

I have had an error message saying that there is a non HP cartridge in the printer and giving various warnings. I have not loaded any other cartridges.

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are getting issues with the ink cartridge which you replaced. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  • Have you signed up any ink cartridge program with HP?

Meanwhile:

  • Inspect the ink cartridge.
  • Clean the electrical contacts.
  • Remove and reinsert the ink cartridges again.
  • Reset the printer.

Click here and follow the steps mentioned in the document to fix this issue.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.

Thanks for this advice. I have followed the steps you suggest and there is no change.

I think as I said the Tri clolour ink cartridge has run out. I am paying for an ink cartrige plan form HP, but have had the wrong replacement cartridge sent to me. I have a new black cartridge, when I need a new colour one.

Is there a phone number or email adress where I can ring to get this sorted? I have spent a lot of time looking on your website and found nothing to help me with this. It is very frustrating, as I had hoped paying to be in the plan would mean that I woudl not have this kind of problem.
