All of my Windows 8.1 systems see Ledger (17x11) as a print setting, but not any of my Windows 10.

Please try using the 11x17 size from HP Universal Printing instead and see if that may work,

I have the HP Universal Printing drivers for Support.HP.com/US

Driver-Universal Print Driver

Version:

6.4.1.22169

Operating systems:

Windows 10 (64-bit)

Release date:

Mar 28, 2017


 

  

I found that HP will not create specific drivers for Windows 10,(Printer is replaced by a newer model)  the Universal will work, but no Portfolio, or Ledger size natively. 

 

 I have created the custom size of 17x11, but my user is very unhappy with this workaround,  that  

  1. The display of the saved Word or Excel file is no longer formatted as 17x11, as she had it with Windows 8.1
  2. She must Select "Custom" to print a 17x11 file, when with Windows 8.1 it was saved as Ledger size in Excel or Word, and when she printed, she did not have to change to a custom size. This user has thousands of Office documents, with this size setting from her Windows 8.1, and most are documents for legal cases. 
  3. Her new laptop came with Windows 10 64 bit (1603.14399.1066) and the vendor doesn't have an ISO for Windows 8.1, nor drivers, , if I install Windows 8.1 64 bit, the vendor will not support the laptop.

I may have to replace the printer ($2K to $3K), or find a new laptop, that can has a Windows 8.1 image and support. Not a very happy user.
