Solved!

Color ink isn't working. Black is is working I have an hp C310a.

I have an HP C310a printer  photosmart.  It needed a black ink cartridge.  I put it in and it works great.  But, now the color inks won't work.  Grayscale is not checked.  Color is checked.  I ran a diagnostic page and it says everything is good.

I have tried the link above and even went out and bought  new cartridges and it still does not work.  On the computer it tells me the inks are full but when doing a test on the machine in the settings  It shows I have magenta, black, yellow.   NO CYAN  NO PHOTO  eetcc  I have tried contacting HP and they lead me to the same procedure as their web page.  what else could i do.  One printer is just out of warranty and the other has 2 yrs warranty

What is the operating system on your computer?

 

What happens when you make a standalone color copy?
