So to my understanding, during the 3D scanning process, the software creates a mesh grid of triangles in which I am assuming each intersection has x, y, and z coordinates. Is there any way to extract these values in David 5 so I can analyze the data of a specific surface? I noticed that the FAQs mentioned free software (meshlab) for measurements in millimeters, but what I need is measurements down to the micrometer scale.
