Hello all. I'm printing a 36x48 PDF cartographic map created from ArcMap. After the data is processed, and the moment printing starts, the paper shoots out about 2 inches and then starts printing. This creates a 2 inch white space on one side of the print. Could it be a calibration issue? Thanks for any help!
Does it happen with all jobs or only this job. If only this job then the issue is some setting in the job. If it happens with all jobs, then try printing something from the utilites menu (test prints) from the printer menu and see if it does the same thing. Sounds more like an issue of what the printer is receiving and not an issue with the printer itself.
Hi there. Thanks for your reply. It happens all the time, including test prints. Right when the printer is about to begin it sends the paper out about 2 inches and starts there. I changed the paper roll to a new one and the problem is still there. Maybe a driver issue? Software issue? Maybe I can change the settings back to factory default.
Hi. Yes, I have done test prints from the front panel and Windows test print. They all start printing after the paper comes out 2 or so inches. I don't know if it could be from a loose belt because the belt is making slapping sounds as the printheads move across the platen.
