Hey, Larry, sorry about your troubles.

 

Yes, you PROBABLY need a replacement main pca.  I just went thru what you went thru--replaced hard drive (new hard drive) and formatter pca (used), and no success. Checked front panel cable. Etc.

 

I had an old used good main pca. Installed it and "bingo". That was the solution.

 

You can get them for about $200 on ebay.  Maybe there is a lesser cost source.

I think you could get a main pca for $195 plus shipping from Vincent Le. Contact info. at letechsolutions dot com.

 

If you sourced a main pca, you probably know that you would have to specify a 24" or 44" main pca.

Thanks for the lead but I've already given the printer away for someone else to have fun fixing.
