Designjet T1300 Paper-jam Error

Hi, I put on my DesignJet T1300 printer, and there was a paper-jam. After clearing the paper and restarting it, a part failure was displayed, and I was promted to press OK button to check and correct the error. After doing that it came up with another error message SE 86:01 Diagonistic.

Found the failing part. Please call HP Support and provide the error code: 86:01.

Please, I need help.

Re: Designjet T1300 Paper-jam Error

That code states there is a paper jam still. It could be the media detecting switch that the paper presses as it feeds through the machine or the thin silver encoder strip that passes through the carriage has timing marks on it and it must be clean. A carriage that can't move back and forth can also cause that code. More information from you will help diagnose the problem.
