I understand you're unable to successfully make a copy on your Deskjet 3520 printer. I'm sorry to hear this has been happening but I will do my best to assist you with this.
My first suggestion would be to plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. If after changing it to the wall the problem persists, it could be a hardware issue with the scanner itself. Have you installed the HP software onto your computer and tried to scan yet? And I apologize in advance for having to ask this, but have you made sure there is no protective film on the glass? It has been known to be missed
