Deskjet 960c printer driver and install

Windows 7 64 bit computer doesn't recognize printer connected by usb cable.(just a beep from plugging in USB cable)  No driver available on web from HP- supposedto be already in Windows 7, but not listed. Update still doesn't list printer.  Other HP all in one works great on my wireless network? somebody help? thanks

The driver is delivered through Windows Update.  Make sure Windows Update is enabled as described in this link, then go to Start, Devices and Printers, Add a Printer, Local Printer, select the last USB00n: port, then click on HP Update.  After the list updates then select the HP Deskjet 960c.
