Product: Laserjet 3800dn
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

I have 3 HP printers: LaserJet 3800dn, Photosmart 8750 and OfficeJet 7612

 

On my Macbook Pro (2011), running 10.10.5 Yosemite, my start-up items include both HP IO Classic Proxy and HP IO Classic Proxy 2.

 

Do I need either or both running in the background or may I remove them or "uncheck"? Is there any benefit either way in performance?
