This printer is designed to work only with new or reused cartridges that have a new or reused HP chip. ..... Replace the indicated cartridges to continue printing.For more information go to www.hp.com/learn.ds

I dont care to use HP cartridges only and was not informed that my printer would not work without them as ALL my other HP prior printers did so. Does anyone have a work around or will HP offer an accomodation?

BTW my 3rd party carts were working perfectly and had beautiful prints and pix at far less cost. I don't care about voiding warranty...just let me print with the machine I paid for AND prevent future updates which I apparently can't turn off either! This is outrageous corporate behavior.
