Envy 4500 - Mac can't connect to printer without restarting printer
05-11-2017 01:43 PM

I'm on a Mac with the current OS. I also print from my Galaxy S7. For the past year, I've been able to print from both my mac and my phone without any issue. But for the past month, neither device can connect to the printer. The only way to print is to try to print, let it fail, then restart the printer. Then when I try to print the second time, it connects and has no issue. Previously, I was able to print even when the display on the printer was asleep. Now, I have to wake it up, turn it off and turn it back on. We only have one Wi-Fi network at home, so I'm not sure why it can never find the printer on the first try. I've reset the printer to default once and tried adding it to the network again, but that didn't solve the issue. Any other tips to try?
