Envy ink 62xl

We have purchased 2 of these ink cartridges for the envy, 62xl in the past 2 months and both of them have failed. First purchased through Wal Mart in February and the second through Amazon in April. We do not print 3 times more pages because we have not been able to get it to print more than 5 pages of text. I am really upset that this does not work and want to know what can be done about it? The very first cartridge that we had when we bought the Envy worked perfectly and the extra one we purchased at the same time worked perfectly, but these 2 that we bought this year are crap. The first one from Wal Mart wouldn't even print it came up with a error message and would not accept the ink like it was some other brand, it was HP. This second one has printed maybe 2 pages and now is printing like it was completely dry. I am ready to take the printer out and shoot it. Hope someone can shed some light on this like a bad batch of ink or something.

Hi @Envynoenvy

Welcome to the HP Forums!

It is a great way to engage, post questions and find resolutions by working with specialists in the HP community.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are having issues with the print quality.

I’d love to help!

As you have mentioned that you have replaced 2 cartridges and having the same issue with both the cartridges, there is a possibility that the printer may have some issues.

I recommend you to perform the steps in the below article and check if that helps.
