Error message - Ink cartridge

I have an OfficeJet J4680 All-in-one, that is giving me the error message "Print Cartridge problem (Tri-Colour) Refer to device documentation to troubleshoot" I am using and HP cartridge, purchased from Office Depot. It has not been refilled. I cannot find anything in the documentation to address this problem. Althought it dosen't matter, I'm running windows 7. Any help available???
