HP 7520
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

When I print large documents to my HP 7520, the printer starts and prints the first 20 pages.  On the 21st page the printer prints part of the page then starts over at page 1.  As a result I can only submit 20 pages at a time or my printer continues in this loop of printing the first 20 pages and starting over.  The document is roughly 70 pages so I have to submit 20 pages at a time until all the pages are printed.  This has been happening for the last year but I finally became annoyed.  This has not happened with previous HP printers.  Does anyone know why this is happening?

Hi @barber7742,

Thank you for stopping by the HP forums.  A Good day to you. 🙂 I read the post regarding requiring assistance with the printer not printing big documents correctly. I will be delighted to assist you with this.

A Stupendous effort, brilliant description and very smart diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you on that score. 🙂 You are an important HP customer and it is paramount to assist you here. I also take it as a privilege to share this platform with you. 🙂

For starters, I would require more information to assist you better.

  • Did you reinstall the printer drivers?
  • Have you checked multiple applications to isolate the issue between the printer and the device?
  • Did you try the printer built-in printer drivers?

Right now, it looks like a driver issue with the printer and the computer.

For starters, let us perform these steps to delete the printer software completely.

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers.

Then please install the full feature from this link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Photosmart-7520-e-All-in-One-Printer-series/51994...

Please update the printer firmware from the same link. Please select the correct operating system and follow the on-screen instructions.

Hope this helps.  Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. 🙂  Please reach out for any issues and I'll be there to assist you. 🙂

To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help.

If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles. 🙂

Take care now and have a splendid week ahead. 🙂
