HP All in One Software, System cannot find the file

After selecting "Install" on the HP-All-IN-One Software I get the following error: "The system cannot find the specified file."

Printer: C6180, wired network connection

PC: Dell XPS One 27

OS: Win 8.1

Have unistalled and re-installed all HP software

Printer will print

Want it to scan and have full features

Worked on previous 5 year old PC runningWin  XP

Have tried HP Print and Scan Doctor - no joy

Have tried HP Wizard - no joy
