HP DeskJet 882C

This older printer has served me well but has now quit talking to the computer. I have rebooted, unplugged/replugged and it still won't print the document in the print cue.  It is getting power, just won't print. I did have a paper jam last week, but thought I had it cleared. Can it be "reset" in some way?

Re: HP DeskJet 882C

Are there any blinking lights on the printer or error messages on the computer?  If there are blinking lights on the printer the document here may help resolve the issue.

Printing a test page may help resolve the issue.  Turn on the printer, then press and hold the power button and while pressing the power button press and release the formfeed button four times quickly, then release the power button.  A nozzle pattern test page should print.

What is your operating system?

Re: HP DeskJet 882C

Thanks, Bob Headrick. this worked: Turn on the printer, then press and hold the power button and while pressing the power button press and release the formfeed button four times quickly, then release the power button.  A nozzle pattern test page should print.

I shall remember this. Have a great evening.
