HP ENVY 4500 PRINTER INK 61 ISSUE IN INDIA

HP Recommended
HP ENVY 4500
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I  had purchased HP Envy 4500 printer in US. Now i am in India. I need HP 61 ink cartridges. But it seems to be unavailabe in India. So i am not sure what is the alternative INK for my printer in Inida. I tried to buy 802 and 61 from HP SUre Supply, but these are not compatiable with my printer as per the site.

Need your help to get the right ink for my printer.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi,

Please check this link, this will give you an idea as to which cartridge needs to be used

Hi SKDAS,

You have two options that I know of:

1. You can change you printer region by calling HP support. See link:

http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02558798

2. You can continue to use the US 61 supplies

Note: you will not be able to use 61 and 802 supplies at the same time.

I'm a HP employee

Regards,

paul111

Though I may work for HP, my opinion is my own.

In a different country you need new cartridges and you need to reset your printer to accept them. The following link will inform you what you need to do:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02558798

I work for HP.
