I Recently got a HP ENVY 4500 and set it up and installed it on one laptop absolutly fine, but when i went to install it on an identical laptop (with slightly diffrent settings) i get an error half way though installing, i have tried using the dowload and the cd and i get the sam error.

The error is this:

Hello there! Welcome to the forums @nasher99 ,

I read the error message you are seeing when trying to install your Envy 4500. I would first suggest ensuring you are logged on as an Administrator on that certain PC?

If you are an Admin, try creating another User Account, giving it Admin privileges and run the installation again.

Also, try temporarily disabling your firewall to see if that helps!

Let me know how that goes for you and if you need any more help, let me know the details and also include which Windows OS you're running.

Best wishes:)
