I understand that you are not happy with the print quality you receive when you print from your iPad.
Kudos to you for trying to clean the printhead and trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.

Do you face the same print quality when you make a copy on your printer?
Have you tried to use HP AIO Remote on your iPad?
Copy function of a printer is independent of the software on the computer.
If you are unable to make a copy, please do hard reset (disconnect the power cable of the printer, wait for a minute and connect the power cord directly to a wall outlet and turn the printer ON.)
If the printer still does not make a copy after a hard reset. Please contact our phone support for the service or upgrade options for the printer.
If the printer makes a good copy, recommend you install and use HP AIO Remote on your iPad, as it provides a lot of features to control the printer. Click here to know more
