HP Envy 5540
Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Hi There,

I just purchased the HP Envy 5540. It is connected to the wireless network, all of the lights are on (and solid), it prints a wireless test perfectly with no errors, and yet every single time I try to print something, I get an "printer not found" message. The printer is connected to the wireless network, the computer is connected to the wireless network, and yet this keeps happening.

The only solution that seems to work is manually unplugging the internet router, manualy unplugging the printer, and then re-connecting everything right before printing - and repeating this process every single time I print a document. Even when printing documents within moments of each other, I haven't been able to have repeated printing success without doing this horrible little unplugging/re-plugging issue.

Anyone else having this issue and/or have solutions?

Thank you!!

Sarah
