HP Envy 7640
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have an HP Envy 7640 all-in-one printer, connected to a Windows 7 laptop.  When scanning a document/picture using 600 ppi, and then cropping all sides of the picture, the saved JPEG file is not the cropped view from the screen.  I have contacted HP's service desk in India who took over my laptop and recreated the problem, then stated they would call back, and I never heard back.  I called again, this time getting the Phillipines service desk who did the same thing to recreate the problem, but could not solve the problem.

Hi,

What do you mean "crop" ? You can simply select the right Scan area/sizes as shown

Cropping is after the initial scan of the picture/document when you can cut/crop one or more sides.  It works for 300 ppi, but not 600 ppl.
