The Envy 7645 has been the most frustrating product I have ever purchased, ever.   I have now spent over 4 hours installing, reinstalling, running HP troubleshooter, etc, etc.   Nothing will get the printer to become available and online with our home computer.   We have been able to intemittenly get it to work with our mac laptop.

I have tried everything, even plugging cord directly into wall socket.... don't know what to do next?

Hello and welcome to the HP Forums!

Sometimes this kind of things does happen, but don't get frustrated as we are here to help.

Not sure how you are trying to get your printer working, i mean USB or wireless?

Please make sure you have uninstalled all other Hp printer apllication from your windows machine.

Restart the computer and download latest driver from following link:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-7640-e-all-in-one-printer-series/6617267/mo...

Run the application and follow the instruction that would appear on screen.

Printer should work as it should be.
