Hi,

I am an IT Specialist

I am facing difficulty while scanning.

When i scan using HP Scan or windows fax and scan.

I am able to connect to scanner. when i say scan NOTHING!!

i have noticed that when i click on scan on printer screen it flashes Calibrating then its back to home screen in a second.

I have tried on other pc's i have new OS installation.

Given max access level in firewall.

to printer exe files, scan, and ports.

i have updated latest firmware too.

Kindly suggest what do i do to fix the issue.

Regards.

I have provided both documents for the USB and Network connections to try:

Check the Device Manager for the Imaging Device, to see if it is listed.

Let me know the results of the Print and Scan Doctor. Here is a screen shot of what the PSDR checks for:

Were you able to scan from the PSDR?
Any error messages?

Please post the results. I look forward to hearing from you again. Thank you.
