I just purchased the HP Laserjet Pro MFP M477 fdw and after loading a 10 page document in the ADF to scan to a pdf with a USB drive inserted, and using the front panel, three tries all failed.  The ADV failed to distinguish between each page, instead grabbing several pages at once.  Two tries resulted in a 6 page pdf; the third resulted in a 3 page pdf and a paper jam.  Presumably the feeder will also fail for faxes.  Very disappointed.  Not sure if there is a fix for this, or if the ADF just works poorly.  If there isn't a fix this will be returned.  Any suggestions?

See the response from the person who is an HP Employee - Matthew T.  I was able to scan using the printer control panel and the ADF with his directives.
