Re: HP M1319F MFP Laserjet - do NOT print anymore

I did the whole process of taking both the power and the USB cable out for 30 seconds, reseat the printer cartridge.

Then I took the paper out of the paper tray and jiggled the tray a little and, voila!

Working like a charm.

Hopefully HP will post this as a possible fix.

Re: HP M1319F MFP Laserjet - do NOT print anymore

I recently upgraded my desktop to windows 7 from Vista.

I downloaded  the windows 7 drivers from HP site and installed without any problems.

The device driver and the computer recognized the printer and installed the drivers but I could not print anything.

After a lot of trial and error and time, I finally got my HP laserjet m1319f MFP printing again.  This is my solution.

BTW, make sure you use a USB printer cable that is 10 ft or less.

First run the "hp_LJM1319_Full_Solution.exe" under admin mode.  =>right click the file and run in admin mode
-this will decompress the files in the C:\hp_LJM1319_Full_Solution directory and automatically install the drivers.

Then install the windows 7 64bit drivers by running "ljM1319-hb-pnp-win64-en.exe"

Once both drivers are installed, goto start/Devices and printers
-you should now see the printer drivers.

Select and double click "HP LaserJet M1319f MFP" icon.

Double click "Printer Actions"

Double click "Customize your printer"

Select "Sharing" Tab

Select "Additional Drivers"

You will now see a check mark on "x64" under Processor.

Check the "x86" processor and click "OK".

A new dialogue box will appear for the "x86" drivers.

Goto the C:\hp_LJM1319_Full_Solution directory and select "Autorun.inf"      <=very important!

The "x86" drivers should now be installed and your printer will work.

Unfortunately, the windows 7 drivers for 64 bit doesn't seem to be working at the moment and this is the only way around it.

I hope they fix the drivers for Windows 7 64bit version
