Officejet Pro 8500 A910
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Officejet pro 8500 A910 (Lenovo X220 Windows 10 ) Tried 5 different HP drivers.
Unable to install. However, able to print from all laptops??? If I browse the ip address, brings up Webscan, able to do most functions. Can also print using print function in most Spent several days trying to resolve this without success. Perfectly good printer now useless? Has HP abandoned this printer?

1. Hard reset

2.confirm HP software is not lurkeing on laptop and in registry

3.confirm printer does not show up in devices and printers

4.confirm latest win 10 drivers are installed in Lenovo X220

 

5.instsall  OJ_AIO_P8500_A909_Full_Win_WW_140_408-5

6 turn on printer enter SSID (confirm)

7.printer enter wireless passcode,(confirm)

 

 

Finish install on laptop :

 

Your printer could not be found on your wireless network.  !!

 

suggestions? other than bullet penetration test?

Set router to channel 1.

Turn off IPv6 in the printer.

 

Now try to connect.  Print off the Network Test/Config sheet and post the results.
