HP driver error.png

Old laptop this printer installed and worked no problem (Win7..don't remember if 32 or 64bit). Company made me swap out for this new laptop (without a cd).  New one is Windows 7 Enterprise, 64bit. Tried both the minimal and the recommended installation. Drivers direct from HP website OJ4500vG510a-f_Full_13_En.exe. Our IT group also tried installing and had the same problem.

Tried with and without the usb connected

The Operating system exclamation says that I should install it on the right version of sw (which lists what I have, Win7 64bit).

Any help appreciated!

Thanks

Hi,
Click the Start button and type %temp% into the search bar, then open the shown Temp folder.

Open the latest HP installation folder which begins with 7z or appear as HP (e.g. 7zs1234)
Open the Setup folder.
Locate the usbready.exe file and rename it into usbready.old.exe
Browse back to the main extraction folder (the folders who starts with 7z) and launch the Setup.exe file.

Now follow the installation and check for any difference.

Regards,
Shlomi
