HP Officejet 4630

I installed brand new HP ink cartridges purchased from Best Buy. Once cartridges were installed message appears pull out paper tray, load plain paper then press ok. Once I press ok it then states now printing alignment page & nothing prints out. I am using cartridge size 61 for both black & color, HP multi purpose paper, cord is plugged directly into wall. I tried unplugging cord from back of printer & wall with & without cartridges & nothing has worked been trying for 4 hrs now, I am beyond frustrated.  Please HELP me......:smileysad:

Thanks for reaching out to the HP community. A very good day to you.  I reviewed the post regarding the alignment mismatch errors on the printer. You have warranty issues also. I will be glad to assist you here.

Terrific description and superb diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that.  You are a valued HP customer and it is paramount to assist you with it. I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you.

  • DId you make a few copies directly from the printer?
  • Did you bypass power strips and connect the printer directly to the wall outlet?
  • Did you try to check if the packing material on the cartridge has been removed?

For a start please try to make a few copies directly from the printer without any communication from the computer.

If it copies fine, then please perform all the prescribed steps patiently from this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-4630-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5305049/model/530... for alignment being unsuccessful issues. This should do the trick for you if the cartridge is not faulty and if there are no hardware issues with the printer.

Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great.
