HP Officejet 6310 All in One - "Cartridge Error - Remove and Reinsert Cartridge on the Left"

HP Officejet 6310 All in One "Cartridge Error- Remove and Reinsert Cartridge on the Left."

Help!  With this error message, it is not allowing me to print at all.  I have done the steps to clean both the cartridge and the inside printer carriage, twice, with no results.  I have turned off and unplugged the printer numerous times also. Plus, the cartridge I just put in is brand new.  Frustrated.  Thanks to you for any help you can send my way!
