HP Officejet J4680 Series Printer not accepting Network Security Key

Even though I am certain that the passphrase is correct and have manually entered it on the printer panel without issues, I cannot get the installation software to accept the network security key. I installed a critical update (slp_dd_hathi_11) to no avail. My two HP laptops (one running VIsta and the other running Windows XP) connect to the printer without issues. I have a Dell Latitude laptop running Windows XP. I am not sure what else to do...

Do you have any firewall(s) running?  Disable them and try again.

Check both Windows firewall and your security software's firewall.

I have an iMac that is wirelessly connected to my host's server.  i am using that security code and can't get the printer setup to recognize my computer.  Can you help?

This is likely a router setting issue. Tell me about your network - router brand/model, encryption type (WEP, WPA, etc) and ISP type (DSL, Cable, etc).
