Officejet 6700
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP officejet 6700 premium will not print in black. Just spits out blank paper. I am using genuine HP ink cartridges. Print utility shows adequate ink levels. I tried replacing black cartridge with new black cartridge. No effect. I have run the clean printhead and align printhead utilities numerous times, no effect. Those utilities don't print any black, just the colors. All other colors print without issue.

I read that article and previosuly completed steps 1-4 with no solution. Naturally the printer is just out of warranty, and very lightly used at that. Guess I have to pay HP to "service" thier product. Maybe I'm just frustrated and cynical, but I'm willing to bet that it costs almost as much to fix as it buying a new one. Unless there are any other solutions...
