I have exactly the same problem.  Have done everything suggested, unplugged both, entered manual preferred and alternate manual DNS.  Can you send me the private fix for this?

HP Recommended
Please send me the private fix also. See my post above.

This is ridiculous. We sound like a bunch of beggars begging for a meal. We bought this product in good faith expecting to get what we paid for, not waiting for HP to throw us scraps from the table. Looks like this qualifies for a class action lawsuit. Maybe exposing this travesty on social media so others are made aware of this HP garbage.

These are the "Secret Instruciotns"

Worked for me.

To do a semi-full reset.
1. Make sure the printer is on the home screen.
2. Touch the Home button, then the return/back button then followed by the cancel button/red x then the return/back button. The buttons won't be lit up, but will still respond to touch.

3. If you do step 2 right, you will see Service Menu come up on the printer's front panel select it.
4. Touch the right arrow until you see Resets Menu and touch OK.
5. Touch the right arrow until you see Semi-Full Reset and touch OK.
6. The printer will shut down.
7. Turn the printer back on and go through the setup screens.

HP warns against this procedure, although it came from them.

MikeSV,

HP should be thanking you because making me beg for the secret fix was coming really close to me starting to buy ink from somewhere else.

THANKYOU!

I am having this problem also and would appreciate the forum inbox solution.  I have tried the steps and manually entered the dns info with no success.  Thanks,  tom
