HP Photosmart C4380 "Incompatible print cartridge(s)"

I have had this printer (HP Photosmart C4380) for 2 and a half years now and the current cartridges in the printer have been there for around 2 months and been printing fine; in fact I printed yesterday with no problem at all!!!!

I have the correct HP recommended cartridges installed in the printer - 350 & 351.

However, today I switched on the printer and the following message is displayed on the printer screen  "Incompatible print cartridge(s)"

I have removed the cartridges and then put them back in, but the same error keeps coming up.  I have turned it on and off but the error still appears.

Any suggestions on why this error has suddenly appeared and how I can fix it?!

Thanks ever so much!

The issue can hace different cause. Please follow the below document

You can also try some more steps.

Take out the cartridge>> insert one cartridge and then close the door.

You should get a message insert the other cartridge.

Do the same with the two cartrdige to find the defect.

Also follow the steps in the document.

If the issue perists, please replcae the cartridge.

If the issue persists then the printer should be replaced.

Please revert for more clarification.
