Product: hp photosmart plus

The black ink is not working.  My old one shows half capacity.  I just put in a new cartridge and it still does not work.  What could be the problem.  The other colors seem to be working and have full capacity.

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! After reading your post I see that your HP Photosmart B210 printer is not printing in black. I would like to help you out with this issue today.

  • Make sure the ink cartridges are properly vented and seated correctly.
  • Clean the printhead.
  • Clean the printhead manually.

Click here and follow the document to perform above mentioned troubleshooting steps.
