HP Photosmart 475

I am attempting to use the Photosmart 475.  It will not print the picture.  It says there is 75% ink.  Everything else seems to be working.  Can you help me?

Hi @Genemom,

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums! 🙂 I see you are trying to print picture to your HP Photosmart 475 Compact, but you are unable to. To better help you please leave me with the following information:

1. What is your current Operating system, Windows or Mac and which version?

2. Is the ink new or has it been sitting for awhile?

3. Do you get any error message when you attempt to print?

4. What program are you printing the picture from?

Click here to download and run the Print and Scan Doctor > www.hp.com/go/tools- It was designed by HP to provide users with the troubleshooting and problem solving features needed to resolve many common problems experienced with HP print and scan products connected to Windows-based computers.

Please let me know what the PSDR finds, I will watch for your reply.

Thanks,

Thank you for your answer.  In the meantime, I find that a picture in the 475 is dated 2009, so I assumed the ink had gone stale.  I purchased a cartridge of new ink and the printer works perfectly.

Again, thank you for your help
