I have Win 7 64 and an HP rebuit printer Officejet Pro8600 that will not install on a notebook.

Please provide more details on the issue like what is the type of connection and what happens when you try to install is there any error message?

I have Win 7 Hp Officejet CM749-64001 SN 26RBWQWD. The printer says no driver the diagnostics says fine??? The printer will print with instructions from itself good yet no other ways. I have downloaded drivers I can't count the times and it fails-says web only or read only at times.  Always says no drivers and unavailable. There are no answers or suggestions  only the details  "sys32/Drivers/Wdcsam64sys"  also says WD SES driver is bad.  I uninstalled the WD SES driver and then reinstalled it---now works good. The Device Manager alsws has the usual yellow sign for error also finding no drivers. I have had a previous HP Plus 8600 that failed and printer was replaced by HP. I am at my wits end. I plug the printer USB and recognises it but also doesn't work.The USB plugs in and tries to reinstall it but fails.

Help please before it goes in file 13.

Hi,

Try downloading and installing only basic drivers from link below and also try downloading the HP printer Install Wizard which helps in installing printer driver.

Is the printing being installed on a network?

If possible can a screenshot be captured and attached in this post to understand the error?
