My HP Scanjet quit working. The time frame suggests either a recent Windows 10 update or an update for my other HP device (an OfficeJet Pro 8710) somehow scrambled the HP Scanjet...? Is that even possible?
It just gives the same "an unexpected error has occurred" message over and over when I try to open the software. The code it shows is 8, [ (0, 2, -2147467259) ]
I've tried re-installing via the download from this site, and from the original disc, multiple times. I also found a link for the latest driver and put that in, but no dice. I'm out of ideas and am hoping to get some guidance.
