HP software for MFP CM1017 for running in Vista compatibility mode will not download

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have read all the blogs about how to download and run the updated software for the CM1017 so it can scan as well as print.

 

To enable the HP Scan application and other full software features in newer Windows operating systems, customers can install the HP software created for Windows Vista and run the files on a Windows 10 or Windows 8/8.1 PC in compatibility mode. To do this, follow the steps provided in this document

 

However, when I try and download the "full solution". I get an error code. 

 

This site can’t be reached

h20000.www2.hp.com’s server DNS address could not be found.

 

I have tried different browsers, various HP sites to get to this software but keep geeting the same error code.

However, it does let me download the normal PCL6 software.


Can anyone help please?
