I bought x476dw last year in March, (warranty 1 year) and I have Printer failure or Ink system failure.
Head was cleaned by HP personell but it won't recognize full ink catridge ! For r that reason I bought again a new one (I've been using only original HP cartridges) and again it's not recognizing. In the HP repair shop they said sensor for this specific color (cyan) has died and that I would have to replace the whole head which costs over 600$.
They actually suggested me to buy a new printer. Warranty expired 2 months ago ! Is this a coincidence ?
Best thing is that I have already bought 8 catridges ahead in case I will need them (970XL and 971XL) in total worth of 800€. Best story now, you can't buy anymore printers like this in Croatia that are suitable for this ink. So, even if I want to buy a new printer for this ink catridges, I'm not able to do that...There is no printer like this anymore in Croatia to buy.
I'm running a company and I need printer every day. I've been using HP ever since I founded my company (for the last 20 years, best printer from HP was old school black white laser printer - still working since 2000) and I can only say that I'm deepy unsatisfied with service/warranty and in total brand !
I beg HP for official statement about this. Please HP, tell me what to now because I'm feeling like a total idiot for paying over 1500€ for printer and inks that last only 1 year and 2 months for me... In Europe, this things are against the law to and against consumer right to provide goods that last only 2 months after warranty...
