HP x64 add and driver

Photosmart 6520
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have had a HP 9800 2nd driver installed on my 6520 to get custom sizes.  Just had to remove and reinstall 6520 and lost the 9800.  How can I ge it back?  Don't find the ADVANCED tab in the printer properties anymore?

Hey @Woodndust

I understand that you are having some issues with installing the Deskjet 9800 driver after uninstalling and installing your Photosmart 6520 e-All-In-One Printer on your Windows 7 PC. I can help you with that.

To add a queue using the Deskjet 9800 driver:

  1. Click on Start and open Devices and Printers.
  2. Click on Add Printer.
  3. Select your printer from the list and click on Next.
  4. When you get to the screen that asks you to select a driver select HP on the left.
  5. On the right side select the Deskjet 9800 driver and click on Next.
  6. Change the name of the print queue to help distinguish between this driver and the regular driver.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Otherwise, have a great week!
