HP7780 All in one Won't Print PDFs then goes Off-line

HP Officejet ProL7780 All-in-o
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there.

I have had this issue with 2 different computers where I download the L7780 driver which ends up translating to a L7700 driver for my Windows 10 64bit machine and when I go to print a PDF document or an Adobe Illustrator document, the printer spits out a blank page then goes offline and throws all my other printers I have set up on this computer offline. The only way to resolute the other offline printers is to restart my computer.  Why would this be doing this? I curretly have no IT person to reffer to and need help. Please.

Hi @LindsayBrown16,

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums for a solution to your printing issue.

I understand that you have installed an HP Officejet Pro L7780 All-in-One Printer on a couple Windows 10 computers and when you try to print PDFs the printer prints a blank page and throws the other printers offline. I would like to help.

You mentioed that you currently do not have an IT person. Is there usually IT personell that work on, or maintain the network?

I would start by making sure all the Windows Updates are up to date on both PCs.

Next, I would download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor to check the printer software.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

In fact, if this helps you to reach a solution please click the "Accept as Solution", and the "thumbs up" buttons down below in this message. 🙂
