Help, Won't print

 I just got a new HP Photosmart 6510 series. Iintsalled everything. The CD, the ink. everything.

But when i try to print it keeps telling me that "Unable to Communicate With Printer."  

I don't understand What im soppost to do. i did some Suggestions from HP  Photosmart 6510 Help

But it still won't print.

 

I know this might be the stupidest questions some of you might read but i honestly need help. even if its that simple.

How is it connected?  If networked, what router?  What version of OS X on your Mac?

It's Wireless, sorry forgot to add that in. My router is Belkin.

Don't have a mac, this is Windows 7. ASUS.

Oh, well you posted in the Mac forum, so I figured you had a Mac.

 

Here are some ideas:

 

1. Restart your router by removing its power plug momentairly.

2. On the front of the printer go to Setup > Wireless (or Network) > Network Report (or similar words).  Does the printer show being connected to your network?

3. Download and run this utility: http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_pagetype=s-926&h_lang=en&h_client=s-h-e17-1&h_keyword=dg-NDU&ju...
What does it say?

It cant find my printer registered.

Alright right now im confused. its connected but the software u told me to download can't find it.

From the front of the printer: Setup > Wireless > Print Wireless Test Report.  Does it show being connected to your wireless network?

 

Do you have an antivirus program on your PC?  Does it have a firewall associated with it?  Can you disable the firewall?
