HP LaserJet Pro L7580
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Solved - Uninstlled all programs related to this printer.  Then used HP Print and Scan Doctor to reinstall all the related software.  Now I can print & scan thru the network.

I have moved and now I do not have the space to locate my PC next to this all-in-one printer.  So want to place it near my router and connect by the network.

I can not get the scanner to work when the HP InkJet Pro  L7580 is connected by an ethernet cable!

I have added the printer to my printer list by identifying it's IP address.  I can print documents on the printer fine, but I can not scan.

I can not get the HP Solution Center software to recognize the printer when it is attached via a ethernet cable.  It wants it attached by a USB cable.  When I set it up by the USB cable I can get it to pick it up but it creates an additional printer ID so I have to be use a USB cable to to use this software.  I have not found a way to let this software identify the network address for this printer.

I tried to get windows to recognize the scanner, but I was unable to figure out how to achive this.

Does anyone have any ideas how to let me use my HP L7580 as a network scanner?  (or if  this printer support network scanning?)
