How to push the paper extender bar back into the tray.

HP Recommended
HP Officejet4630
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have tried to push the paper extender bar back into the paper tray to no avail.  please help  Insructions are not clear on how to do this.  thank you. Vickyt

fold the top part first, then push back in.

I had a paper jam  after the paper extender bar does not go back in again . I tried and tried it just wont push in.

the printer is printing fine after the jam. What to do? I have a HP Envy 4500 e-all in one
